I've been wearing specs and writing words since I can remember. When I was 15 I started out as a contributor and member of the youth panel for a new website, SpunOut.ie.
This love of writing continued and I entered Trinity College, Dublin where I spent 5 years studying the nuances of the English language, both in the lecture theatre and in my extra-curricular activities. I started as a contributor to the largest print publication in Trinity College, and worked my way up to Chief Copy Editor. Following my graduation with a Masters in Gender Studies, I worked as a researcher and archivist for the Office of Public Works.
At the age of 25, I returned to SpunOut.ie as an in-house writer and editorial team member, and in 2017, Specky Scribbler was born. It's my academic background and love of language that has enabled me to work with a wide variety of clients to ensure their message is disseminated effectively. Everything I write starts as a scribble on a piece of paper... see what I can scribble for you.
